Due to the potential health complications of augmentation surgery, coupled with high costs and often undesirable results, more and more women are seeking alternatives to improve the size and firmness of their bust.
To meet the demand, a variety of products have hit the market, including supplements, pills, creams and pumps. A breast enhancement cream is one of the more popular of these alternative treatments, however there is very little scientific or anecotal evidence of its effectiveness in increasing bust size.
Breast creams usually contain ingredients similar to those found in the more effective herbal enhancers, including wild yam, black cohosh, fenugreek, burdock root, kelp and others. However, most of these products do not contain enough active ingredient to have any real effect on breast tissue. Moreover, most do not contain the delivery system necessary to bring these stimulating extracts across the skin barrier, even if they do contain significant amounts of these herbal extracts.
A breast enlargement cream might cause a temporary skin swelling due to a reaction to the product, but this is only temporary and should not be confused with real breast growth. Many women are fooled by this initial tingling sensation, thinking to themselves "Wow, it's working!"
Although there have been positive results with natural breast enhancement supplements, according to the women who have tried them breast creams have not yielded similar results. Some women have used breast firming creams and supplements together, but for the most part they believe it was the supplement that had the greater effect.
More research needs to be conducted to determine the effectiveness of breast enlargement pills, supplements and other products. If they can in fact produce signicant results, then we believe more women will opt not to have surgery, as the risks and costs are too great to overlook.
